Tom Curran is the Founder and Co-CEO of Curran Wealth Management. He is the Managing Partner of C&W Enterprises, a real estate developer and investment company, operating in four states. Recently Tom launched an accounting firm, Hippo Tax Services, and a leasing company, Beachside Leasing. Tom is the author of Investing Ahead, published by Forbes in 2022. He is a graduate of Temple University and earned an MBA at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business where he was a Fels Fellow at the Fels Institute of Local and State Government.
Tom Easterly is a retired agent with the New York Life Insurance Co. Prior to joining New York Life he was employed for 30 years in a family manufacturing company in Johnstown, NY. He lives in Albany with his wife Sally. He received his undergraduate degree from Clarkson University and an MBA from Syracuse University. Tom previously served as a vestry member, warden, and treasurer at St. John’s in Johnstown. Currently Tom is a parishioner at the Cathedral of All Saints in Albany where he serves as treasurer and cochair person of the “For All The Saints” capital campaign. Currently Tom is a member of Diocese of Albany trustees and serves on the diocesan ADIT committee. Tom has been president of NAMI NYS and was president of the local Chapter of MHA in Montgomery, Fulton, and Hamilton Counties. While living in Johnstown Tom was president of the Johnstown YMCA.
Todd H. Vandervort, President and CEO of The Vandervort Group LLC, brings over 37 years of experience in delivering legislative, regulatory, and procurement services to a diverse range of clients, including both large and small businesses as well as trade associations. Todd specializes in policies and initiatives related to health care, construction, workforce development, pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverage regulation, the fire service, and small businesses.
Over his 40-year career, Bruce has focused on working with families with complicated tax and financial situations. This has involved collaborating with his clients’ attorneys, investment, and insurance advisors to ensure that his clients’ overall planning objectives and needs are met. Charitable donation planning, including private family foundations, has been a major focus. Bruce has served in leadership roles in a number of nonprofit organizations over the years, including Chair of the Board of Old Sturbridge Village.
John Zagame has experience in the public and private sectors. A graduate of Syracuse University in 1973, from 1974-1980 he was a Member of the New York State Assembly, serving on the Committee on Ways and Means. From 1980-85 he served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Alfonse D'Amato. From 1985-88 he served as Deputy for White House Liaison at the Republican National Committee, and Interim Manager of the 1988 Republican National Convention. From 1988-93 he was President of John R. Zagame Associates Consulting in Washington, working with national and international clients. From 1993-97 he was Executive Director of the New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC). From 1997-2000 he joined a family development business, Jaymark Inc., in Clermont Florida, where he was Vice President for Development and Government Relations. In 2001 he became a Vice President of Park Strategies Consulting LLC, retiring in 2020. He continues to work with former Senator D'Amato on national and international matters.
